Happy birthday to me!
Hello again,
Yesterday was my birthday. It didn't start off too good but got better as the day went on. The night before my wife, daughters and I went out to eat for my "birthday dinner". I couldn't finish it all, which in and of itself is weird. After dinner we were going to go wander around Fry's Electronics (think kid in a candy store!). My stomach had started to not feel well and all I wanted to do was go home (you know I was sick).
I was supposed to go have breakfast with my father on my birthday, but had to cancel as about the only thing I thought I could eat was dry toast. I really couldn't each much other than ramen noodles for most of the day.
Late in the afternoon things finally settled down with my stomach which is a good thing. My Christian Business Networking group had their quarterly party. We got together had dinner and sat around the pool talking. It was a great time getting to know each other and our families a little better.
My family brought birthday cake and the group decided they all had to sing happy birthday to me. It was a good time and I really enjoyed myself.
One of the attendees, Bob, asked if I had started doing something I said I was going to do. No I haven't. Thank you for holding me accountable Bob. Several blog entries back when I mentioned my Christian Business Networking group, I said I was going to start giving you more detailed information about members as time went by. I haven't done that yet. Assuming I get information from someone other than myself, I will publish an entry by this time next week. Nothing quite like a deadline to get things done!
Until next time.....
