Anyone know where I can get a good horse?

We don't have room for a horse, nor the knowledge to take care of such an animal.  However, given the recent issues with my '94 Ford Thunderbird and the rising cost of fuel, a horse is beginning to look more and more like a better option!

At the beginning of the month, I had to have an emissions test on my car so that I could register it.  The first test failed because the gas cap allowed too much pressure to pass out of the system.  I put on a new gas cap and passed the test.  About a week and a half later, my car started leaking gas.  Not out of the gas tank but out of the fuel system in the engine compartment.  Very hot surfaces and a highly volatile liquid make for a dangerous combination.  Praise God that the car didn't catch fire.  Though I cannot prove it, I am firmly convinced that my $8 gas cap caused another $250 in repairs!  I am certain that it would have happened eventually, but now seemed to be a really bad time from my perspective.

The one horse we do have room to keep is a Mustang.  Specifically a Mustang GT convertible.  Unfortunately, we still have payments to make on our Expedition so there won't be a new Mustang in my near future.  It really isn't much better, and in fact may be worse, than the Thunderbird when it comes to gas mileage.  However, it is a MUSTANG.  The car I have dreamed of owning for a very long time.

Until next time....
