Coming up on Mothers day, I thought I would give you an update on the various members of my family.  My son turned 19 today!  It is hard to believe that 19 years ago I was holding a little bundle of joy.  Now, thanks to my father, we have secured airline tickets to get him to his internship at Disney World starting in August.

Nothing really special going on with my oldest daughter other than she is getting ready for finals and to start her senior year of high school.

My middle daughter just got her cast off.  About 6 weeks ago she broke her left thumb for the second time this year.  Once at the beginning of school and once near the end.

My youngest has been diagnosed with strep throat!  She has had a sore throat for a couple of days and was running a fever of 102.

I am getting ready for my second knee surgery on Monday.  I hope this outbreak of strep throat in my home doesn't impact my surgery.

Other than getting ready to enjoy Mother's day, the only other major thing going on with my lovely bride is that her school year is coming to an end soon.  The rest of us may, probably will, get drafted to help her pack up the stuff in her current room as she won't be in that room next school year.
